Genetic Disorders are medical conditions caused by mutations in a gene or a set of genes. Mutations are changes in the DNA sequence of a gene. They can happen when we are a single cell, and at any time therafter. PGD can be done for various genetic disorders. In many cases where the DNA genetic disorder is know, PGD can be performed.
